Who is responsible
imgconvert.eu operates this service and acts as the data controller. Before public launch, the operator must add its legal name, postal address and privacy contact details here.
What we process
We process the image you choose, its filename, conversion settings, a temporary random download identifier and essential session data. Standard server security logs may include IP address, browser information, requested URL and time. With consent, Google Analytics processes device, usage and approximate location data.
Why and legal basis
Image and session data are processed to provide the conversion you request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Limited security logs may be processed for our legitimate interest in protecting the service (Article 6(1)(f)). Analytics is processed only with consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
Storage and deletion
Uploaded source files are handled only during conversion. Converted files are unavailable after one hour and are automatically deleted. Session data ends when your browser session expires; Google Analytics retention must be configured and documented before launch.
Cookies and sharing
We use a necessary session cookie. Google Analytics loads only after opt-in and may set analytics cookies; rejection does not affect the service and consent can be changed through Privacy settings. Google acts as a service provider. Data is not sold.
International transfers
Google may process analytics data outside the EEA using applicable safeguards. The operator must identify hosting location and verify transfer terms before launch.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdraw consent or object. You may also complain to your local EU data protection authority.
